UPDATED!!!!

Read down, I added a few posts today.

July 4th

I regret that I didn't get any pics over the weekend of the 4th. We had a nice time. On the 4th, me, Linc, mom, Josh, and Chris went to the pool at Benita's all day and had a yummy lunch. Then, we all came to the house and were joined by Bart, Sandra, and Jean for a rainy cookout and we had a perfect view of the M'boro fireworks. Once again, great fun with family and friends.

FATHERS DAY 2009

As you could have guessed, this was not a pleasant weekend for me. On Friday, mom and I went to dad's grave (there was no headstone still) and I put out some flowers, balloons, and a Hot Wheels. On Saturday, we went to Chattanooga to have FD with Jerry and papa. We had some YUMMY Famous Dave's. On Sunday, Linc and I went to the grave again.

We got to celebrate Hollee's birthday on June 9th at her home. It was a Luau theme and we had good food, thanks to Don's grilling, and lots of fun with family and friends.

Some of dad's friends from the MHRC, MSCC, and PACE organized a memorial cruise for dad on June 13, 2009. It was amazing! We had so many friends and family members join us. We cruised from M'boro to Cornersville to meet the PACE club, then to Lynnville to have lunch at the Soda Pop Junction. We then went to nanny's and papa's to visit and do some family pics. It was a special day for all.

The M'Boro Hot Rod Club hosts a cruise-in every Friday night (May-Oct.) at Belk. We try to go when we can and when the weather is nice. We end up seeing lots of family and friends, which is great. This night was special b/c I drove dad's car (BY myself) and Linc drove Jerry's car. Jerry and Becky also joined us for the night. Come join us!!!!

My garden for the year....who know if anything will grow!!!

Linc's new squirrel-proof birdfeeder. He gets sooo mad when the squirrels eat all the food!!!
We've been busy with some AWESOME M'Boro Hot Rod Club Memorials. Wednesday at Sonic, a placque was presented to us in dad's name and one to Bobby and Pat in Bradley's name. Both families received one to keep as well. These will also hang somewhere at the Cason Lane Sonic, home of the bi-weekly Wed. night cruise-ins. Then, Saturday was a car show at Belk in the Boro. We (mom) got to choose a car to receive a memorial trophy in dad's name and Bobby and Pat got to choose a car to receive one in Bradley's name. Mom, Josh, and I decided on a COOOOOLLLL 2009 Ford Mustang. It was from the factory, called "Warriors in Pink". It was all decked out for breast cancer. We chose this b/c we felt any support to cancer was essential. The MHRC presented our family with a lifetime membership into the club.

MOTHER"S DAY WITH MOM

On Mother's Day, me, Josh, Linc, and Britt had lunch here at our house for mom and Benita. Mom came over early and we gave her our gifts.

Mother's Day in Pulaski

The Saturday before MD, mom and I went to see nanny (dad's mom) for MD and to take her a gift. Mom got her a locket. Her inititals are on the front and dad's initials are on the back. It has dad's pic in it. It turned out so pretty and nanny was so proud of it.

A friend of mom's (and dad's) donated a book on Chevelles to the Murfreesboro public library. Here are a few books. I will have it for about a month if you'd like to see it, or you can go to Linebaugh and check it out. Linc says it's great!!!! He does love Chevelles though! There is another book that was donated via a friend of mom's, but it has been checked out. It's topic is muscle cars and speed. I will post on it when I get it. ENJOY!
This is on the first page

You can own this book for a deal of $38

We finally got our deck door and little garage door painted. With all the rain, we were delayed over a week. This is Linc installing the new knobs and locks after the doors dried.

The Irises at out house have FINALLY bloomed! I thought they'd never get there. I love them and just had to get some pics.
I love that these are 2-toned. I have never seen them anywhere else.
These are mini Irises that are sooo neat. They are like those at The Aveune
